Three things:

1. I tried fish and chips. And it was poo. The chips were so soft that I think they might’ve forgotten to put potato in them. Just some artificial-potato-powder-that-doesn’t-taste-like-potato-at-all and fat. Drowned it in fat. And the fish! Don’t get me started on the fish! First of all, it was covered in something greasy, presumably more fat (they deep-fry everything over here!). I managed to take that off, and tried to eat the fish at least! And that tasted like cod that had been in some stinky freezer for too long. And the freezer had been in a shed which was buried in dirt and belonged to a man with a big moustache and thick, really thick fingers. And then some idiot found the fish and made a feeble attempt to boil it, but got distracted by the cat trying to lick something off the floor, and then boiled it for so long that the little flavour that was left was all gone, and then he dipped it in fat. Why would anyone want to do that to fish? Come to Norway, and I’ll show you some proper fish.

2. I went to Dublin! Wicked. Basically, Mari and I, moved from pub to pub for two days. We did try to see some of the touristy-stuff in between all the pubs, but we figured, hey, Ireland! Pubs are culture! It was all good fun. The guys who let us sleep on their couch had a gig on Friday, so we went and saw them. Good good. Then we got even more drunk. [BLANK]

My godness, My guiness!

3. The new keane album. Of course. I am, and always will be a keane fan. And they just released a new album. If you want a well written, full review of the album, have a look at this. As the author share so many of my opinions, I realise there’s no need for another review. I just want to say that I got it, and that I really like it. I enjoy listening to it. And I mean just listen. I don’t need any other entertainment. Just listen. Keane’s music opens up for so many thoughts and reflections. It’s so nice and happy, when it’s sad at the same time. I find myself appreciating what I’ve got when I listen to keane.

My favourite is You haven’t told me anything. Not because it’s the best song, but because of the end bit where they use a choir (or something that sound like a choir). Just something about choirs I like. It sounds so divine. Like they’re making music for something more than I can understand.

Sadly, that’s the only part of the album that makes my belly tingle, my heart jump and give me chills down my back. So compared to Under the Iron sea.. well, that’s the thing. You can’t compare them, cause they are so very different. I think that’s why I like this album just as much as under the iron sea, even though under the iron sea is better.

So the conclusion is: please buy this album. Or download it. As long as you listen to it, I’m satisfied.

Yes, fish'n'chips is dreadfully boring. I was expecting some fine touch to the preparation of the fish, or maybe a good sauce.
But no. Just dry chips and a dry lump of fish.
